Introduction

Amongst youth associations and groups in Nigeria, there is one that stands out - The NIGERIAN ASSOCIATION OF COMPUTER SCIENCE STUDENTS (NACOSS). NACOSS is an association engineered by students for students to deal with student related concerns and to channel these concerns to the appropriate quarters through coordinated and organized effort.

Year after year the association has grown and has built on the strength of its past leaders. It is now the largest youth association in Nigeria. A great deal of this growth was as a result of the election of the present NATIONAL EXECUTIVE COUNCIL (NEC) a year ago at the 15thannual convention at the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria, who pledged themselves to working tirelessly to ensure that they bridge the gap between the youth and the industry in other for NACOSSites to garner knowledge at an affordable rate that will make them useful to the industry.

In our bid to ensure this, we have prepared herein the details of all the components of this 3days event; this proposal includes the details of the intended parallel events and all other plans for the event. It also includes the budget, highlighting the major area where funds will be targeted.
