Illumination Software Creator 7

We, at Lunduke.com, have been at the forefront of the visual programming revolution for a few years now.And now it's time to change just about everything about software development and bring visual programming into its golden age -- with the advanced functionality that large-scale software projects need as well as the that companies depend on.

There are, at present, 4 different visual programming tools available here at Lunduke.com (all Open Source under the GPL).This is what it currently looks like.

-- Multi-platform, rapid application prototyping and development.-- Easy building of games and interactive media.

-- Visually creating logic for Arduino boards.

These are all great, in their own ways. But, why have 4 different visual programming tools when we can have one single Integrated Development Environment that covers all of that functionality (and then some)?

That's where "Illumination Software Creator 7.0comes in.

Here's a quick run-down of what makes Illumination 7.0 so special.

1) Allows you to target iOS, Android, Windows Phone, Windows, Linux, MacOS X, Arduino and Web out of the box.

2) Built around a highly modular, completely platform independent system that allows new target platforms to be added (rather easily) by any developer, at any time.

3) All functionality, for all target platforms, can be modified, within Illumination itself, at any time.Likewise new functionality can be quickly added.

4) Illumination itself runs on Linux, Mac, Windows, Android, iOS, ChromeOS and Ubuntu Touch.Possibly more, but these are the systems that are being tested most rigorously and will be officially supported through our .

5) Can toggle between "Touch Mode" and "Mouse Mode" to optimize the user interface for different types of devices.

6) Multiple developers can work on the same, completely visual, project at the same time.Changes made by one developer are displayed, in real time, to all other developers working on that project.

7) Integrated support for Git version control.

Existing projects, built in and App-Make-inator, can be imported into Illumination 7.0.So your existing projects will migrate to the new system just fine.Illumination Software Creator 7.0 is in Beta testing right now and is being made available to individuals and organizations with so that they can get a jump start on their development.Illumination 7 will, just as with version 6.0, be released as Open Source to the general public. But those with get first crack at it.This provides a few key benefits:

A) Keeps the "signal to noise" ratio low as we move closer to a final release.

B) Helps to fund increasing development costs for such a large, Open Source, development system

Side note for those that have been closely following the development of the visual programming tools here at Lunduke.com:

There was a project under-way to bring App-Make-inator to mobile devices. The fruits of that labor have been rolled into Illumination 7.0
