JOB DESCRIPTION:



Associate Staff Engineer



As a software development engineer in the Electrical Systems Division of Mentor Graphics you are required to understand, design and implement solutions for the electrical systems domain.



Interact with marketing to transform requirements into software specifications.



Design and implement the functionality for the requirements.



Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement of product line.



Interact with co-workers and stakeholders to improve the quality of the product.



Provide support to customer services group for addressing customers issues.



Candidate Profile



Extensive experience in Java, Data Structures, OOAD.



Strong algorithmic development skills.



Hands-on knowledge of Test Driven development.



Great problem solving skills and ability to learn new technologies.



Strong Object Oriented Design skills.



Working knowledge of domain driven design is highly desirable.



Should be able to design independently and highly self-motivating individual.



Ability to take initiatives and follow solid coding standards.



Engineering graduate or post-graduate in any field of engineering with 5-10 years of experience.



Adept at using one or more software development methodologies. Working knowledge of Scrum is highly desirable.
