To join a growing team of dedicated Embedded C Software Engineers to facilitate the ongoing support and growth of the company's payment platform and to be involved in exciting future development on new projects.



FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL:



* Interact daily with other members of the software development team and others within the business

* Develop software solutions in answer to business requirements and needs

* Be responsible for the crafting of very high quality code that you would be proud of

* Help facilitate software quality measures - Test Driven Development, Peer

* Review and Pair Programming

* Work closely with the Head of Development to constantly evolve and adapt the development process within the agile methodology framework

* Be involved in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle



NECESSARY SKILLS:



* C/Embedded C

* Knowledge of EMV Chip and Pin process and requirements

* RISC/ARM processors

* Memory management

* Low-level protocol handling

* Eclipse IDE

* Familiarity with security concepts (encryption, DUKPT, 3DES, etc)

* Windows and Linux

* Version control (Git preferred)

* Agile (Scrum)

* Exposure to Atlassian products (esp. JIRA, Greenhopper, Crucible/Fisheye, Bamboo and Confluence)
