Boston- Pre Sales Engineer-80-150k

A groundbreaking network and performance management company in Downtown Boston seeks several Pre-Sales Engineers to join their growing teams on a full time basis.This organization was started by a variety of well-known individuals with deep roots in the technology space.Some of the founding members of this group have led innovative software companies, including both network security and application performance monitoring companies.Due to their staggering growth, they seek several mid to senior level Pre-Sales Engineers to join their growing sales teams.This will largely be an inside sales environment, with roughly 10% of the time spent at various trade shows or client meetings.Thus, qualified individuals will need to feel comfortable speaking to high level managers, VP's and CTO's of software development companies.Your role will be to walk customers through product demonstrations, show them why their cloud based solutions are viable and efficient for their business needs, and then closing them on the product.You will be selling mainly their application performance management solutions, which are used by brand name clients such as Acquia, vmware, Citrix, and Avaya.They also have clients in the financial, healthcare and entertainment sectors, and you will be selling to executives from these companies directly!They are looking for folks at all skill levels, but the absolute bare minimum qualifications are as follows:



* Strong Development Experience in at least one of the following languages: Python, Java, PHP, Ruby on Rails


* Strong Sales Experience- for mid level consideration, at least one to two years; for senior level consideration, at least five years

* Experience walking clients and prospective customers through product demonstrations



Strong Pluses



* Database development experience- i.e. MySQL, NoSQL

* Sales Team Lead experience

* C.S. Degree
