(W2) Build the thing right

We have started with the follow up on reflection on the key issues from the Class Exercise: Group: Learning to learn in groups (NATO conference proceedings) from week 1.

Systems Development Lifecycle

The Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in software engineering, is the process of creating or altering systems, and the models and methodologies that people use to develop these systems. The concept generally refers to computer or information systems.

In software engineering the SDLC concept underpins many kinds of software development methodologies. These methodologies form the framework for planning and controlling the creation of an information system. We have analyzed the generic characteristics of the core activities of systems development; summarized here as Requirements, Evaluation, Implementation, and Maintenance (below).

Construction

When we did build the Lego we had the plan, the box with parts and the time. We started with a good pace 2 of us were finding the right parts and 2 of us assembled it. We stuck in the middle? the box was missing some parts..... So where is it failed ? In Requirement and Analysis?
