That's where you come in.Ideally, you are a skilled programmer with around five years of experience developing server-side Java in an enterprise software environment.At VendScreen, you'll be working on:


RESTful web services hosted in a fully modern Java architectureObject-relational mapping technologies, especially HibernateLinux servers hosted in autoscaling AWS clusters using a PostGres databaseAPIs scalable and secure enough to support hundreds of thousands of mobile client devicesUnit testing, including dependency injection frameworks to facilitate automated testing

VendScreen's main product is an Android-based device about the size of a smartphone that allows vending machines to process cashless transactions, display product information, and personalize the transaction by allowing vending operators to offer coupons, frequent-buyer discounts, and whatever other features we can dream up.These devices aren't perfect yet, but they do work, and we have customers using them in the field right now.In fact, you may have seen them around town.
