WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Aide in the development of solutions that support consistent information architecture, taxonomies, visual standards, interaction patterns, and use cases across multiple applications- Review designs, document front-end technical specifications, and provide time estimates for the implementation of features/fixes- Convert production mockups to quality XHTML/CSS/JavaScript for multiple enterprise software products- Self-start and steward your implementations through the software development process ensuring you champion the standards of the UX team in every development challenge- Maintain a close working relationship with a geographically distributed development team in an evolving agile environment- Follow common sustainable page design, management, and development methodologies- Perform testing at the page & source for presentation layer defects

MUST HAVES:

- Bachelor's degree- 4+ years of professional work experience in a software development organization- 4+ years of professional work experience with XHTML, JavaScript, & CSS- Professional experience cropping & optimizing production artwork using one of the following design tools: InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator

EVEN BETTER:

- 6+ years of professional work experience as a user interface developer of web applications- 5+ years of professional work experience coding rich, immersive interfaces using jQuery, javascript, CSS, HTML 5 and other front-end web technologies - Experience with Backbone, Knockout, or other JavaScript frameworks- Knowledge of Flash - Ability to author a presentation layer within an advanced web application framework such as .NET or Java/J2EE- Experience in a cross browser implementation- Proven ability to manage several projects simultaneously- Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality software in a fast paced environment with iterative deadlines- Past experience in healthcare software, healthcare industry, or business intelligence

WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT:

- This IS NOT A .NET DEVELOPER ROLE. Having the ability to program higher technologies is a big plus. It will help you understand the power and limitations of the platform when working with the product development teams. However, you will not be writing C# code in this role.- This IS NOT A USABILITY ANALYST OR DESIGNER ROLE. While knowledge of common usability patterns and practices is a sizable part of this role -- it relies heavily on your ability to actually implement the visual treatments and compelling interactions that come about from your close work with the UX Designers.
